Curriculum Aspirations

Our Early Years curriculum is carefully designed around the seven areas of learning within the EYFS Framework, providing children with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to thrive. Each area of learning is underpinned by a curriculum aspiration, reflecting the qualities and characteristics we want our children to develop.

The seven areas are organised into key strands of learning, creating a broad and balanced curriculum. Learning is carefully sequenced across three age groups: Explorers, Voyagers and Adventurers, with clear progression building on children’s knowledge and skills over time.

Each stage has an overarching “I can…” statement, supporting children to develop confidence and independence as they progress through the Early Years.
